License
Commercial version customers may customize and extend Asterisell without limitation, according to the terms and conditions of the Asterisell commercial license.
Users of the open-source version of Asterisell must respect the GPL license.

- Business users support past and future development of Asterisell by paying a reasonable fee

Renew your license to receive upgrades for other 365 days.
License Renewal is not mandatory. You can continue to use Asterisell forever, because the commercial license is perpetual, but you can not upgrade to new versions.
Customized Versions
If you use a heavily customized version of Asterisell, the yearly renew fee is double that of the standard yearly renew, as I must back-port Asterisell improvements to your customized version.
